I just realized most people don’t even know what bike I’m taking to Alaska! About a year ago I purchased a BMW 1150GS. Since then I’ve been prepping it for this trip. So far the additions include:

Additionally I bought bags from Helen 2 Wheels. These things are awesome. The quality is outstanding. I purchased a medium clothes sack, two sets of the Jesse luggage bags, and a few other smaller items to help on the trip.

Currently the bike is in for service. I thought about doing this myself but honestly with everything else I’m doing to prep for this it was just easier to pay the man. Additionally they found the problem with my ABS and have fixed that as well (Definitely a piece of mind there)

So, some of you who know might have heard that I’m taking a trip. As it stands my buddy Heado and I are departing on May 26 for 16 days to Alaska on motorcycle. I’ll be posting more up here in the near future, but for those interested I’ve included a link to the proposed route via google maps
