I just realized most people don’t even know what bike I’m taking to Alaska! About a year ago I purchased a BMW 1150GS. Since then I’ve been prepping it for this trip. So far the additions include:

  • Bill Mayers Custom Seat (Best money spent)
  • Garmin Zumo 550
  • Rox Risers
  • Centech Aux. Fuse Box
    •  Additionally I bought bags from Helen 2 Wheels. These things are awesome. The quality is outstanding. I purchased a medium clothes sack, two sets of the Jesse luggage bags, and a few other smaller items to help on the trip.

    Currently the bike is in for service. I thought about doing this myself but honestly with everything else I’m doing to prep for this it was just easier to pay the man. Additionally they found the problem with my ABS and have fixed that as well (Definitely a piece of mind there)
